Permissions & Data Access

We ask only for what we need. Here's exactly what and why.

Why: Used by nestiq Vision to capture move-in and move-out condition photos directly from your device.

What we don't do: We never record video, access your camera roll without your action, or activate the camera in the background.

Why: Allows you to select existing photos from your library to upload to nestiq Vision or attach to maintenance requests.

What we don't do: We only access photos you explicitly select. We never scan or index your photo library.

Why: Sends you rent reminders, maintenance updates, document alerts, and workflow token status changes.

What we don't do: We never send marketing messages without your consent. You control notification types in Settings.

Why: Used optionally to auto-fill your emirate and area when setting up a new property.

What we don't do: We never track your location in the background. Location is used only when you initiate a property setup.

Why: Stores your login session securely so you stay logged in between visits.

What we don't do: We do not store sensitive personal data locally. No tracking scripts write to local storage.

Why: Required for all features — document sync, rent checking, Nia, payments, and real-time updates.

What we don't do: We never make network requests in the background except for real-time workflow token updates when the app is open.
